Intro to GDPR
GDPR is the biggest change to data protection in a generation writing data protection requirements into law to ensure that all businesses processing personal data of persons in the EU do so in a secure and appropriate way. With that being the case, it is vital that business owners and staff understand what will be required of them once the new regulation comes into force.
There are many new rights for data subjects as well as requirements for the processing of data with new powers to enforce penalties of up to €20 million or 4% of global turnover (whichever is the higher).
Safonda offer this session as an introduction to the new regulation and how this will impact every area of your business giving participants an understanding of what it required for their business to comply with the new regulation along with the tools to achieve it.
